SALON ETIQUETTE

At CMH, we are committed to creating a personalised experience and exceptionally beautiful hair, and as such, we request that all clients consider the below points in our Salon Etiquette guide. Following these helpful tips will enable our CMH team to provide an optimum service for each and every client.


CONFIRMING YOUR APPOINTMENT

Our guests will be sent a confirmation SMS in the lead up to their appointment. In receipt of this we ask that you confirm or cancel your appointment by replying either Y, Yes, N, or No. Alternatively you’re welcome to phone us.


APPOINTMENT TIME

At CMH we prefer that all clients arrive on time for their appointment. If you are running more than 15 minutes late, your stylist may deem it necessary to reschedule your appointment as this will impact the time available for the next scheduled client’s appointment. This may also incur a 50% cancellation fee. If you are pressed for time, you are encouraged to notify your appointed CMH Hair stylist who will do their best to accommodate your circumstance.


CANCELLING YOUR APPOINTMENT

Your appointment time is reserved especially for you; therefore, we request that you be courteous and respectful and call us promptly if you are unable to attend an appointment. Last minute cancellations do have a significant impact on small business, their clients and team. We ask that cancellations are made at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment, and are accepted by, phone or SMS. If you have confirmed your appointment and then do not arrive at the appointed time, Color Me Happy may deem it necessary to charge a 50% cancellation fee.
Our policy complies with the Victorian Department of Fair Trading.


QUOTES ONLINE OR OVER THE PHONE

Whilst we endeavour to provide accurate quotes for all services over the phone and online, prices may vary following a personal in-depth consultation in the salon. Quotes will be offered from your stylist during the face-to-face consultation process if required.


PAYMENT METHODS

Payment for all services can be made by cash, Paypal, EFTPOS, Visa, MasterCard, Humm and Afterpay.


RESPONSIBILITY OF CHILDREN AND PERSONAL ITEMS

For the safety and comfort of all clients, we ask that children are accompanied by an adult at all times, and carefully supervised and for safety reasons, do not play on the salon furniture or touch tools and equipment. Please also note that personal items are the responsibility of the client at all times.


PRIVACY POLICY

Our objective is to protect and maintain the privacy, and security of your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988. The Privacy Act contains a set of standards for the handling of your personal information known as the National Privacy Principles (NPPs). Personal information collected by Color Me Happy generally comprises name, address, contact details and certain financial information. The National Privacy Principles require Color Me Happy not to store personal information longer than necessary. We are committed to the privacy and protection of your information.


GIFT VOUCHERS

Gift Vouchers: Vouchers are not refundable or redeemable for cash. Vouchers have a 3 year expiry date. Vouchers must be presented at time of purchase or will not be honoured. No show and cancellations within 24 hours will result in 100% loss of voucher value.

Promotional Gift Vouchers: Promotional Vouchers issued at annual gift voucher sale are not redeemable for cash and can not be used to purchase products. The promotional gift vouchers are to be used on salon services only and are valid for the said promotional period terms
